Below is a quick trick to help you see better when you are driving in the rain and it is raining hard. Most people turn their windshield wipers on high, thinking it will keep their windshield clearer. If you have tried this, you know that does not usually work.

A simple solution? Put your sunglasses on!
That Is It! Simple?
Although you will see raindrops on your windshield, with sunglasses, it will be MUCH easier to see. Not only will this make it easier to see as you drive, it will also eliminate much of the “spray” that is splashed on your windshield when you are passed by another vehicle
Tip #2: if you have sunglasses that are polarized lenses, you will also find them useful when you are around bodies of water such as rivers, lakes, oceans. When you put on your polarized sunglasses, you can suddenly see beneath the water rather than just the sun’s reflection.
Tip #3: Never use cruise control when it rains or if the ground is icy, thinking that it will help to monitor your speed. It has the opposite effect. The reason? If you have cruise control ON and your car begins to hydroplane, your car will accelerate causing your car to take off like an airplane.
NOTE: It is too bad this warning is not on the backside of the driver’s side sun-visor
NOTE: Some vehicles are beginning to have the safety feature that will not work if your windshield wipers are on; however, all vehicles should have this safety feature
