Unique Methods to SORT ~ N ~ SAVE Money Tips

Corral Plastic Utensils

For those of us who take lunch to work, another way to save money (besides taking lunches!) is to re-use plastic utensils after cleaning them in a dishwasher.  However, have you ever tried to keep those spoons, forks, and knives organized? Ha! In your dreams.

Binder Clips corral plastic utensils

Well, I found the perfect way to do it. I put a narrow box in my silverware drawer and attached binder clips to one side (between where the plastic ware is and the rest of my silverware.

Works like a gem!

You can also use binder clips to:

  • Secure bags of potato chips, tortilla chips, pretzels, etc.
  • You can also use them to while traveling to hang hand washed lightweight items to dry overnight such as hankies, socks, underwear (in a pinch), light weight tank tops and a host of other items.
  • If you purchase family size bags of frozen veggies or French fries, binder clips are a cheap way to close them
  • Tape one of the grips to a cupboard door and hang a recipe so that you can easily see the recipe and it stays clear of splatters, spills, grease marks, etc.

Binder Clip Use

Tape one of the grips to a cupboard door and hang a note with sale price items that you nabbed on the way home from work, so you remember to use the items

Tape one of the grips to a bathroom mirror so you can clip a note to a family member. My granddaughter comes to visit occasionally and she knows that I leave notes on the mirror in my spare bathroom.

There are MANY other ways that you can use binder clips. You just need to think outside the box.
